Leicester City have gotten off to a horrendous start to their 2022/23 Premier League campaign, failing to win both their matches and they will now have the chance to get things back on track when they face Southampton at home.
The Saints themselves are riding on the same boat, as they have also picked up only one point from their first two matches and given that these two sides are pretty evenly matched, Hasenhuttl will want his players to go all out for a win on Saturday.
The last time these two sides met was in May of this year and Leicester City won that match 4-1. The Foxes will be hoping to pick up a similar win this weekend as well, more so cause the Saints have a very poor away record. They haven’t won an away game in their last 11 matches.
This one will be very difficult to predict because both these sides are yet to pick up pace this season but Leicester City will be the one who will be more eager to secure a victory on Saturday because their last outing was a 4-2 drubbing at the hands of Arsenal.

The home side has only two injury absentees going into this match and none of them will be ready for the Saints game.
Ricardo Pereira is out until February of 2023 with an Achilles tendon injury while Bertrand and Harvey Barnes will be returning to action in a few weeks.
Several LCFC players are being linked with an exit so it will be interesting to see if Brendan Rodgers still uses them in his first XI or does he push them down the pecking order.

As far as Southampton are concerned, they have also two injuries going into this tie and both of them are long-term absentees.
Livramento is out with a cruciate ligament injury and he will not return this calendar year while Theo Walcott is the other player who is going to come back sometime next month.
