The Bayern Munich management has come out strongly against the recent reports that Robert Lewandowski is going to leave the club in the summer.

According to various reports, Lewandowski is unhappy with the fact that he did not win the Bundesliga’s top scorer award. And he laid the blame on his teammates for missing out on it.

Since then, various newspapers have reported that Lewandowski is unhappy at Bayern and wants to leave. And Premier League clubs Manchester United and Chelsea were the two preferred destinations for the Polish International.

And to add fuel to the fire Lewandowski’s manager said that his client was really disappointed with the whole situation and would like to leave in the summer.

But now, it looks as if  Bayern Munich have come out with some strong words to rubbish all these claims. The management have made it clear that they will not let the 28-year-old leave. And any club that tries to have talks with the player will be at risk of getting sanctions from FIFA.

The statement released by Bayern Munich:

Robert Lewandowski has a contract with FC Bayern which he has recently extended until 2021. fc bayern do not have any thoughts about a transfer.

Lewandowski scored 30 goals in the past season and was the top goal scorer for Bayern Munich. But the Polish International missed out on the top scorer of the season award to Dortmund’s Aubameyang who netted 31 goals for his club.
