Liverpool’s humiliating defeat at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur have sounded a few alarm bells and many are now fearing that the German coach is not the right man for the job. Liverpool are currently ninth on the League table with a goal difference of -2. The Merseysider’s are 12 points behind league leaders Manchester City and it looks like their title race is well and truly over.

But a few club faithfuls are fearing that if such a performance keeps on continuing then the Reds might not qualify for Europe next week. That is why these people are calling in for some desperate measures and one of them is sacking the manager – Jurgen Klopp.

Former Man Utd and Spurs player and current BBC pundit, Garth Crooks is one such person who feels that the owners of Liverpool should get rid of Jurgen Klopp and bring in a new manager in order to prevent a further meltdown. In his opinion, the Reds should release Klopp and bring in former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti – who is currently a free agent.

While speaking to the BBC Crooks said, “As for Liverpool, let us be frank with each other,

“They are a great club with amazing history and they deserve a manager to reflect those points. ‘There are few managers in the world who can take the title to Anfield but I believe former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti is one of those.”

Crooks is just one of those few people who feel that Jurgen Klopp just cannot handle the pressure at Anfield and this, in turn, is reflecting on his players and their performances on the pitch.

Ancelotti recently parted ways with Bayern Munich after the Bavarian’s slow start to the season. And currently, the Italian is being chased by a string of top European clubs in order to take up their managerial role. But Ancelotti has made it pretty clear that he wants to stay away from football this season and will only take up a new job next summer.
