Thanks to a late dash Liverpool managed to finish in the top four of the Premier League table but if they wish to challenge Manchester City for the title then Klopp has to bring in some fresh faces.

The manager and the club’s hierarchy are very much aware of this as well which is why the Anfield outfit are gearing up for one of their busiest transfer windows in recent times.

The club have already wrapped up the signing of Ibrahima Konate and as per The Express, they intend to make a handful of more signings before the 2021-22 season kicks off.

The report suggests: “Liverpool appear to be gearing up for a busy summer transfer window, with Jurgen Klopp able to benefit from at least two or three new arrivals ahead of next season.

“Club director Michael Edwards has already engineered a £36million move for Ibrahima Konate and is likely to be keen on making a number of additional signings between now and the start of the new campaign.”

The first name on the list is that of Youri Tielemans who has been a standout performer for Leicester City this past season and Klopp wants the Belgian international to serve as the long-term replacement to Gini Wijnaldum.

Tielemans will not come cheap since Leicester want around £70m for his sale but we think this amount is just to fend off the suitors. Liverpool though aren’t the only side interested in him since Man United have also developed an interest in him and could make a move really soon.

Yves Bissouma is another midfielder who has been linked with Liverpool in the last few months but unlike Tielemans, the Brighton man is not going to cost a fortune.

Bissouma has reportedly shown an interest in leaving the club this summer which should make things a lot easier for Jurgen Klopp but Liverpool will have to battle it out with Arsenal if they wish to get their hands on the Mali international.

The other name that has been doing the rounds is that of young Patson Daka.

The Zambian international has been on fire for Red Bull Salzburg this past season, scoring 27 goals in just 28 league matches and he is being viewed as the long-term successor to Roberto Firmino.

Liverpool have made pretty good progress in this deal and if everything goes well then he should become the second official signing for the Premier League side this summer, as per the Zambian Observer.

Leeds United man Raphinha is another name that has been constantly linked with the Anfield outfit this summer and if rumours are to be believed then he is one of the top priority targets for Jurgen Klopp.

Leeds are not ready to sell him since he arrived at the club just one year ago but if the bid is good enough the Marcelo Bielsa should give the green light in this deal.
