Liverpool might be in line to suffering a huge setback as two of their star players Roberto Firmino and Phillipe Coutinho might not be fully fit in order to face Manchester United next week.

Both Firmino and Coutinho are expected to take part in Brazil’s World Cup qualifiers against Chile and they will return back to Liverpool on Thursday next week. And the Reds take on their arch rivals that very same weekend on Saturday. Now according to the Metro, the duo might nor be 100 percent fit in order to take part in the derby.

Brazil’s match against Chile is scheduled to finish during the early morning of Wednesday as per the UK time and the duo will waste no time after the match as they will fly out for Liverpool in a private jet.

Manchester United too face a similar kind of dilemma as their first choice right-back Antonio Valencia will take part in the World Cup qualifiers for his national team Ecuador. But for Mourinho, though this will not be much of an issue because he has the likes of Matteo Darmian and Ashley Young whom he can call upon to fill in at right-back.

But the absence of both Firmino and Coutinho will definitely be a severe blow for Jurgen Klopp as the Merseyside Reds are currently seventh in the Premier League table. The pressure has slowly and steadily been mounting on the German boss and if his team are unable to slay Man Utd at home then surely those whispers of discontent will rise up.
