Liverpool have reached the semi-final of the Champions League where they will take on Ernesto Valverde’s Barcelona.

The Reds might have been setting the Premier League on fire this season but without a doubt, all eyes will be on the young lads of Ajax when they take on Spurs.

And it looks like Liverpool could make a move for one of their key men during the summer transfer window.

Hakim Ziyech joined Ajax in 2016 from FC Twente and this season the winger has been in trailblazing form scoring 19 goals and providing 20 assists.

Ziyech has impressed many people with his performances vs Real Madrid and more recently Juventus and reports are claiming that a long list of clubs might be queuing up to sign him at the end of the season.

Hakim is out of contract at Ajax in 2021 but the Dutch side have never been able to hold on to their star performers and many believe after Frenkie de Jong, Ziyech could also be sold off.

Ajax will most certainly try to keep hold of him but with the likes of Liverpool, Man United and Arsenal reportedly interested in him, we doubt if the Eredivisie club can prevent him from leaving out.

The semi-final vs Spurs will be yet another audition for Hakin Ziyech and if the winger can come up with a great performance then surely these transfer rumours will pick up even more wind before the end of the season.

Having said all this though, this report is still in its initial phase and we will only get to know the seriousness of this rumoured transfer during the summer transfer window.
