After a couple of poor results, Liverpool finally got back to winning ways by thumping six goals past Leeds United now their next game is against Nottingham Forest and this one should be a regulation win as well.

Liverpool are currently eighth on the Premier League table, nine points behind the fourth spot so on paper, they still have a chance to qualify for the Champions League however they will need a lot of results to go their way to be able to finish in the top-four.

Forest are currently 18th on the table and have won just six league games this season so we don’t expect them to put up any major fights this weekend. Steve Cooper’s side will try and make things difficult on Saturday but Liverpool are playing at home so we are not expecting any stumbles.

Liverpool’s team news and injuries:

Naby Keita and Bajcetic are the only two regular starters who are missing right now but because Thiago is back to full fitness, the midfield area will not be a cause of concern for Jurgen Klopp.

Thiago started on the bench against Leeds but this weekend, the Spaniard is likely to come back into the starting line up, replacing Curtis Jones.

Another major boost for Klopp was the return of Luis Diaz who had been on the sidelines for months. The winger got around 10 minutes under his belt which is great news for the Liverpool boss.

Everyone’s eager to see him get a start but we don’t think Diaz is fully ready for that because he’s been out for more than six months. Also, against Leeds, Jota was exceptional down the left flank so it will be very unfair to drop him to the bench.

Jota scored two and assisted one goal in that 6-1 win which is why he is going to hold onto his place, ahead of Diaz and Darwin Nunez.

All of a sudden, the Liverpool manager has surplus attacking talent at his disposal but he won’t be complaining one bit because they still have a realistic chance of clawing down that nine-point gap.

Liverpool predicted line up vs Nottingham Forest:
