At the weekend, Liverpool picked up a superb win against Nottingham Forest and those three points have helped them reach within nine points of the top four, for the time being.

Next up, the Anfield outfit travel to London to take on West Ham United, a team who are slowly and steadily climbing up the Premier League table.

The Hammers beat Bournemouth quite handsomely on Sunday and they are actually unbeaten in their previous five matches so Liverpool will be in for a tough test in midweek.

Liverpool are having a below-average season but their previous two matches have been very solid wins so Klopp will be hoping that his players can make it three in a row.

The away side are only playing in the league right now so it will be interesting to see if the manager still decides to rest any of his players or does he keep using the same starters.

Liverpool’s team news and injuries:

Calvin Ramsey and Bajcetic are both out for the remainder of the season while Firmino is expected to miss out with a minor muscle injury.

The manager had said last week: “We will see how long that takes. It’s not too serious, but he is definitely out for tomorrow and next week.”

Naby Keita has been on the sidelines for almost a month and there’s still some doubt as to when the midfielder is going to come back. Thiago is available but the Liverpool manager used Curtis Jones against Forest.

This one position might see a rotation in midweek because the young midfielder was not great at the weekend.

Luis Diaz is being slowly introduced back into the fold after his long injury lay-off which is why we don’t think the winger is going to get a start any time soon. The season is more or less over for Liverpool so it makes no sense to rush Diaz back into the starting XI.

Also, Diogo Jota is doing great down the left flank so Jurgen Klopp has no need to panic. Jota’s form has also affected Darwin Nunez because he’s fallen down the pecking order and now he has to be content with substitute appearances.

Liverpool predicted line up vs West Ham United:

Predicted Starting line up(4-3-3): Alisson; Van Dijk, Konate, Trent, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Thiago; Jota, Gakpo, Mo Salah.
