Liverpool might suffer yet another headache after the news that Sadio Mane’s injury is much worse than it was originally feared.
Sadio Mane to a knock during Liverpool’s game against Everton this weekend. At first, he couldn’t put pressure on his foot while trying to stand up. But after the match, Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp said that the injury might not be very serious. But by the looks of it, Mane could be out of action for several weeks to come.
Doctors have claimed that they have been unable to perform scans because the swelling has not yet subdued. This comes as a huge blow for Liverpool just when the league was entering into the business end of the season. Liverpool have already lost the likes of Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson to long term injuries. Now it looks as if Mane is added to the list.

Mane has been prolific this season for Liverpool and the reds have truly suffered whenever the Senegalese has been absent. Liverpool were having a dream run in and around the Christmas period and looked like serious title contenders. But just as Mane left for the AFCON in January, Liverpool’s season literally came crashing down. But now when Mane is back into the squad, Liverpool were starting to have a good run of form. Phillippe Coutinho was also finding his form back and was building a great partnership with Sadio Mane. But this injury scare to Mane has ruined Klopp’s blueprint again.
