Liverpool are currently sitting on top of the Premier League table with 12 points and next up they take on Newcastle United at Anfield this Saturday.

The Reds have managed to pick up wins in each one of their four outings and right now they are the only side to do so. And the fans are hoping that their side can keep the winning run going especially since the Magpies have already lost two of their matches.

NUFC are currently 14th on the league table with 4 points and no one really expects them to pull off any kinda magic when they take the reigning Champions League winners at Anfield.

But some people have hope that Steven Bruce’s men can walk away with something this weekend since they have already beaten Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 away from home.

Liverpool vs NUFC news:

Liverpool are currently unbeaten in their last 40 home matches in the Premier League and Klopp will be looking to add one more match to that tally especially since all of his players will be returning to Merseyside injury-free after the international break.

As of now, there are no fresh reports of injuries in the Liverpool camp which mean Klopp could very well field the same first XI as he did against Burnley FC.

But some experts feel, the manager could rest a few of his key players since Liverpool will take on Napoli in the Champions League just a few days after the Liverpool vs NUFC clash on Saturday.

Right now, Liverpool have three injured players – Naby Keita, Nathan Clyne and Alisson Becker and all three have been ruled out from the Liverpool vs Newcastle United fixture.

The absence of Alisson means summer signing Adrian will be the number one choice for the Reds in front of goal once again while the back-four should remain unchanged.

Fabinho and Wijnaldum played in central midfield vs Burnley and the duo will retain their place in the first XI since Keita is out injured. But some reports claim, one of them could be rested with Napoli in mind in which case James Milner will come in.

Sadio Mane and Mo Salah both got some much-deserved rest during the international break which means they should be ready to play vs Newcastle United but some rumours claim the manager could be tempted to keep them on the bench since the Magpies are not a tough opponent.

If this happens then Divock Origi will get to play down the left flank while Xhedran Shaqiri takes the place of Mo Salah.

But we don’t think the manager will take such a big gamble, especially with Man City breathing down their necks.
