Only a few days back United left-back Luke Shaw had received having criticism from his manager Jose Mourinho. Mourinho in his weekend interview said he was still not convinced with the England international’s focus and ambition.

But now in a rather shocking turn of events, Mourinho has decided to include Shaw in his eighteen man squad that is to face Everton. This is a rather bizarre situtaion. Simply because Mourinho himself claimed at the weekend that Shaw was not in contention for the Everton game during midweek.

But according to the local sources, Luke Shaw had a meeting win the United manager on Monday at the club’s training ground. This is believed to be a clearing the air sort of meeting where obviously Shaw might have made efforts to resolve his dying United career.

Shaw has started on two games for the Red Devils since November. And many insiders from the industry believed that Mourinho might sell him during the summer transfer window. But now it looks that Shaw clearly wants to stay at United to prove himself. And he is making every kind of effort to get a start.

United face Everton in midweek in the Premier League and Shaw might as well feature in the first eleven. The Red Devils also have a lot of players that are back in contention for selection. Ibrahimovic and Herrera both return from suspension and will immediately feature in the starting line. Pogba is also likely to make it to the starting eleven after missing the West Brom game this weekend.
