Man City have picked up four wins out of four in the Premier League but that record will be in danger because Guardiola’s side will welcome Arsenal on Sunday.

MCFC are comfortably sitting at the top of the league table with maximum points but they did suffer a hiccup in midweek, managing only a draw against Inter in the Champions League.

Manchester City created four major chances against the Italian giants but failed to convert and Guardiola will be hoping this 0-0 does not affect his player’s rhythm when Arsenal come to town. Arsenal and Newcastle United are just two points behind City so if they were to suffer a defeat then Pep’s side could end matchweek five in the third spot.

Manchester City’s team news and injuries:

If a draw was not bad enough, midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has picked up an injury and the Belgian playmaker is a major doubt on Sunday. KDB ran the show for the first 45 minutes against Inter but was substituted at half-time with an injury.

Thankfully, the knock is not serious and the Man City manager has claimed that De Bruyne has a chance of making it into the matchday squad.

The manager has told the press: “Kevin de Bruyne feels today a little bit better, but not yet… he could be involved against Arsenal.

“Days off and tomorrow is training and we will see”.

If Kevin De Bruyne can be fit in time it will be a massive boost for Man City but with Ilkay Gundogan in the team, we don’t think the manager will risk using a player who is not 100%.

Apart from Gundogan, Guardiola has Phil Foden who can play in the attacking midfielder’s role against Arsenal.

Jack Grealish continues his form start to the new season and on Sunday, the England international will be replaced by Jeremy Doku while Savinho starts on the right-hand side.

Yet again, Erling Haaland is making a mockery of the Premier League and in just four matches, he has scored 9 goals. If the Norwegian international can find his stride early on then Arsenal will be in all sorts of trouble.
