Man City are currently the out and out favourites to win the Premier League and next up, they face Arsenal in the league on Sunday at the Emirates.

City beat Everton 3-1 in midweek meaning Guardiola’s side have won their last 11 matches in the league and now 10 points clear at the top of the table.

Man City have kept a clean sheet in 7 of their last 8 matches in the league and despite Arsenal’s recent form, we expect the Citizens to pick up all three points without making it a stretch.

Guardiola rested a few of his regular starters against Everton but almost all of them are likely to come back into the side when City visit the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Man City team news vs Arsenal:

Laporte and Ruben Dias started in central defence against Everton but the former is expected to make way for John Stones who remained an unused sub in midweek.

Kyle Walker came back into the side for the 3-1 win and the England international will keep his place at right-back with Zinchenko expected to come back into the side and operate on the left-hand side.

Rodri will start in defensive midfield and Ilkay Gundogan will return to the starting line-up after Guardiola revealed that the player will be fit to face Arsenal.

Guardiola said before the Everton game: “He[Gundogan] is much, much better, better. It is not a big issue, but to avoid risk today, we have given him a few more days to recover. But for Arsenal he should be ready.”

Bernardo Silva scored the third goal for Man City against Everton and this performance should be more than enough to reward him with another start in the league.

Riyad Mahrez started on the left wing in midweek but he will move to the bench as Phil Foden will operate in that role on Sunday.

Raheem Sterling will play on the right flank and Gabriel Jesus is also likely to keep his place in the starting line-up. Sergio Aguero remained an unused sub during the 3-1 win and there’s a chance that he could feature against Arsenal.
