City scraped through to the 4th round of the Carabao Cup after withstanding a late bout of pressure from Tony Pulis’ West Brom and are now looking forward to the Premier League fixture.

The Blues face Crystal Palace, who are currently rock bottom of the table with 0 points in 5 games and they are yet to even score.

Fans of City will be expecting to see City run riot in this fixture and win it by a big margin but Guardiola will have an eye on the midweek’s Champions League fixture as well and could rotate the squad.

Here is our Man City vs Crystal Palace line up prediction:

Goalkeeper:

Ederson – The former Benfica shot-stopper is likely to return after being rested against West Brom.

Defence:

Kyle Walker – The right-back featured for 30 minutes in the Carabao cup and will start this one.

John Stones – The Englishman is having a great start to the season and despite playing the 90 in the midweek, he is likely to start this one considering Kompany is still unavailable.

Nicolas Otamendi – Eliaquim Mangala featured in his place in the midweek but the Argentine who even scored last week should be back.

Benjamin Mendy – The Frenchman was not even on the bench for the Carabao Cup tie and is likely to start this one.

Midfield:

Fernandinho – Superb performances so far which means his position in the side is as secure as any of the other two midfielders.

David Silva – Should be back replacing the ‘other’ Silva in the central midfield.

Kevin De Bruyne – One of City’s and in fact the League’s best players should be raring to go having sat out the cup fixture.

Attack:

Leroy Sane – The German has featured sparsely this season but despite that, he has already scored 4 goals. Wonderful performance in the cup game and Pep must surely be thinking about rewarding the performance with a start in the Premier League.

Gabriel Jesus – This one is a bit tricky as the Striker played the full 90 minutes in the cup game. But so did Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling and knowing how much Pep likes playing him and Aguero together, he is likely to start.

Sergio Aguero – The Striker scored a fantastic hat-trick last week at Vicarage Road and was rested for the cup game which means that he will be fresh and itching to have a go in this one. Crystal Palace must be scared, very scared.
