Tammy Abraham to Arsenal England
Tammy Abraham Chelsea

Man United and Manchester City have been linked with a move for Roma’s Tammy Abraham after his sensational revival with the Serie A side.

The forward joined Roma from Chelsea last summer and Jose Mourinho has successfully turned him into one of the best strikers in the Italian league. To date, he’s scored 23 goals in 40 games across all competitions and has a rating of 7.41 out of 10.

He’s been the talk of the town in Italy and there are reports that Roma are ready to cash in on the 24-year-old at the end of this season. The Serie A side though have set a price tag of £100 million with so many big clubs eyeing a move for him.

Are Man United and Man City serious about signing him?

Man United and Man City are both keeping tabs on the forward but we doubt if Pep Guardiola will want to make a move for him, especially with such a massive price tag.

The manager will spend £120-40 million to try and sign someone like Kane or Haaland rather than splashing £100 million on Tammy Abraham.

Man United though could try and sign the forward if they fail to qualify for the Champions League. If they finish out of the top-four then they won’t be able to attract any of the big-name strikers meaning they might have to shift their focus to a player like Tammy Abraham.

We don’t think City are serious about signing the 23-year-old while United’s transfer plans will depend on where they finish on the Premier League table at the end of May.

Will Tammy Abraham go back to Chelsea?

Chelsea are struggling with Lukaku and Werner so there’s a chance they could try and bring Tammy back next season.

The Blues have a buy-back clause inserted in the deal so if Roma do decide to sell the forward then Chelsea will be the first in line.

Tuchel might also try and hold onto Aramando Broja(who’s currently on loan at Southampton), in which case they will not challenge the two Manchester United sides for Tammy Abraham.

Tammy might be interested in heading back to England but we doubt if he will want to join Chelsea, a club who already have a superabundance of forwarding options.
