Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to bring in some fresh faces during the summer transfer window. But before he can do that, the manager will have to get rid of some existing deadwood.

Manchester United have been linked with players like Harry Kane, Haaland and Pau Torres for some time now and it looks like Ole is ready to sell some players so he can gather up transfer funds for these new signings.

According to the Daily Express, the Norwegian manager has made up a list which includes the names of David De Gea, Donny van de Beek, Tuanzebe and Alex Telles.

Van de Beek and Tuanzebe have been nowhere close to a regular starting berth this season at Man United so it’s only logical that Solskjaer sends them out permanently and use the transfer money elsewhere.

David De Gea has also fallen down the pecking order in recent months and it’s quite evident that Dean Henderson is the current No 1 at the club.

And given the salary that De Gea is earning right now, the keeper will probably be the first one to be put up for sale at the end of this season.

Alex Telles was brought in to replace Luke Shaw and left-back but ever since the Portuguese’s arrival at the club, Shaw has found a lease of life. Right now, the England international is one of the best left-backs in European football and there’s no way Telles can dethrone him right now.

We will have to see if Ole will risk losing Telles after just one season but with Brandon Williams as an apt backup, Man United should not shy away from parting ways with him if a good enough offer comes by.

Apart from these four players, Jesse Lingard is also going to move out as West Ham United are more than certain to turn his loan deal into a permanent one. David Moyes is probably going to be ready to pay a handsome transfer fee given how well Lingard has performed in the past few months, so Solskjaer can also gather a fair amount from there.

As things stand, Lingard is the only player who’s destination is certain right now but once news seeps out of Man United’s interest in selling players, a lot of big clubs will queue up at their doorsteps in no time.
