Man United take on Real Sociedad in the second leg of the Round of 32 clash in the Europa  League and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is likely to make a number of changes to his starting line-up.

United have a 4-0 advantage from the first leg meaning this two-legged tie is more or less over which is why the manager will want to rest some of his regular starters.

And this has prompted many to believe that Ole could hand first-team debuts to Shola Shoretire and Amad Diallo this Thursday.

Both of them have seen some gametime in the past week but the Man United boss has ruled out the possibility of using them from the very first minute.

“Probably not,“ he said in response to selecting the two youngsters in the first XI. “Shola and Amad, no I’m not sure if that would be fair on them. They will be in the squad.”

With the tie almost wrapped up, we do expect to see the youngsters come onto the pitch sometime in the second half so they will surely get some more minutes under their belt.

The trio of Cavani, Van de Beek and McTominay are all out injured and Solskjaer is still not sure if they will recover in time or not.

“Donny, Edinson and Scott, I don’t know,” admitted Ole. “Maybe they’ll be available but I’m not sure.”

The absence of Donny van de Beek means Bruno Fernandes might be forced to play against Real Sociedad in attacking midfield and the Man United fans will certainly not want to see such a key player being risked especially with a crucial PL game vs Chelsea coming up.

If Cavani is not in time then Mason Greenwood is expected to lead the line on Thursday.
