Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly looking at Genoa youngster Pietro Pellegri before a January transfer window move.

Pellegri is a Genoa youth academy product and is currently the joint youngster player to appear in the Serie A after making his debut back in 2016, aged 15 years. The striker is currently sidelined with an injury but his performances this season has already grabbed a lot of eyeballs.

Both AC Milan and Inter Milan were reportedly interested in signing the 16-year-old from Genoa and Inter amongst these two clubs were the favourites. But now it seems that the Serie A giants have cooled their interest in the player and are no longer chasing them.

According to Calciomercato, Premier League clubs Manchester United and Chelsea have been showing an increased interest in the striker and they might possibly place a January transfer bid.

Pellegri has really impressed this current season. The striker has played in 6 games scoring 2 goals.
