Man United will play their first match of the 2020/21 Premier League season this weekend as they welcome Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have gotten an extended break due to their involvement in the Europa League last season but this break does not seem to have done much good as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be without a number of his regular players on Saturday.

The first big miss could be midfielder Paul Pogba who has just recovered from COVID and has reported back to training earlier this week.

While reports claim that Pogba is fit enough to get a start but we do not think the manager will be naming him in the starting XI. At best, he will get a place on the bench.

Mason Greenwood is another player who has been training in isolation after he broke COVID guidelines while on international duty.

The youngster has undergone a test but we do not think he will get to start againt Crystal Palace this weekend in the Premier League.

Apart from these two, players like Juan Mata, Eric Bailly, Fred and Nemanja Matic have returned to training only on Monday so we doubt if they will be fully fit to feature in the matchday squad.

Axel Tuanzebe is completely ruled out with an ankle injury and the defender is only expected to return to training in a couple of weeks time.

All these injuries and fitness issues will surely be a cause of concern for the Man United manager but the Red Devils have enough firepower to make sure they pick up all three points on Saturday.
