Man United vs Sevilla UEFA Europa League
Europa League

Man United beat LASK in the Europa League last week in order to progress to the quarterfinals where they will take on FC Copenhagen.

This match will be a knockout game meaning if Man United pick up a win in this one then they will go straight into the semi-finals where they will take on the winners of the Wolves vs Sevilla game.

And according to former Man United man Paul Scholes, the Red Devils have a pretty good chance of winning the Europa League, barring one major hurdle.

Speaking to BT Sport, Scholes said, via Mirror: “This Europa League is a really big opportunity for them now.

“There’s some decent teams left in there, you can’t dismiss the likes of Sevilla, who won it three times on the trot at one stage.

“Roma obviously will have quality, Italian teams are always difficult to play against.

“But the biggest threat to Man United winning this Europa League to me is Inter Milan, I think they’re along with United the best team in it.

“I think if that’s the final that will be a great final, something really to look forward to. There’s motivation on each side especially from Inter players, look at Lukaku the way he left the club, that could be a big story.

“But I just think if United are firing, they’re mentally right, they’re fresh, I think they’ve got better players than Inter Milan, they’ll just come through that.

“They’ll beat Copenhagen. I don’t think it’s a problem.”

Inter Milan will take on Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter-final which is a much tougher game as compared to that of Man United’s but if Conte’s side do get back the German, then there’s a big chance of them progressing into the final.

Man United, on the other hand, will have face the Wolves test in the next round, should they get past the Danish side.
