Man United take on Everton in the English Premier League this weekend and after a 9-0 win against Southampton, many think, the Red Devils might get a bit complacent.

The Saints finished the match with nine men and Man United used this opportunity to improve their goal difference, moving within just seven goals of Manchester City.

Such an easy performance in midweek might force the United players to lose focus and against a team like Everton, this could prove to be a really catastrophic problem for the Old Trafford side.

But speaking to the press, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has assured everyone that his players will not get carried away on Saturday.

He told in his pre-match press conference: “Well, you’ve got to take the good with the good and the bad with the bad sometimes.

“You know, what the boys took from that one is that we did the right things, kept good habits. I don’t think anyone will get carried away with the scoreline because we know we played against 10 men for the full game.

“Of course, that’s demoralising when they lose a player like they did. When we got to 2-0, the game was more or less over. We’ve not mentioned the game at all really, all the focus has been on Everton.

“We’ve done well away from home, we’ve bounced back after the Sheffield United defeat and feel ready to kick on again and move on, hopefully we can get some momentum.

“We know it’s not going to be easy because we play every two days, or three or four days. But if we can get the consistency, the morale and confidence up, who knows?”

Man United go into this match on the second spot with 44 points meaning they just can’t afford to drop any more points in the Premier League.

If Ole’s men cannot win against Everton and on the other hand, Man City win their game-in-hand then Guardiola’s team will go seven points clear at the top of the table and Man United’s title push will undoubtedly come to an end.
