Man United have had a very mixed season so far but during the past week, the Red Devils seem to finally be upping their game.

Last week, United beat Spurs at home and then this weekend they went to the Etihad and beat defending champions Manchester City 2-1.

And in both these matches, Marcus Rashford has worked as a catalyst especially when Man United have looked to break out quickly from defence.

So far this season, Marcus Rashford has played in 16 Premier League games and has managed to find the net 10 times meaning right now he is without a doubt the star player for the Old Trafford outfit.

And manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has gone to even compare Rashford with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Solskjaer said: “It’s very easy to compare the two of them, yes.

“Both with skills, body shape, attitude, attributes – everything. The boy has every chance in the world to become a top, top player. Let’s hope he continues like this.

“I don’t want to talk about the amount of goals.

“As long as he keeps being positive and being direct and thinking about getting in front of the goal and getting chances, he’ll score goals.”

Rashford does have a few techniques which are eerily similar to Ronaldo but the England international still has a long way to go before he can step into the shoes of the Portuguese legend.

But for now, the Man United forward has to focus on keeping his goalscoring streak going with the busy festive period just around the corner.
