Man United have been going through a dismal run and were held to a 2-2 draw by Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday.

And things aren’t going to get any easier as Jose Mourinho brings his Tottenham Hotspur side to his former club in midweek.

Jose Mourinho took charge of the North London side last week and since then, the Lilywhites have had a revival of sorts but at the same time, Man United have been really struggling to get wins under their belt.

United have drawn their last two league matches but could very well go down in midweek against Spurs if Ole does not come up with some kinda magic.

Man United news vs Spurs:

Man United have been missing midfielders Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay throw injuries but the manager had hinted that both these players could return back to action in midweek vs Spurs.

In the absence of the duo, its been Fred and Andreas Pereira who have been playing in central midfield and both of them have done a rather poor job.

So if Pogba and Scott can be fully fit before the Spurs clash then surely they will be one of the first names on the manager’s team sheet.

Some experts though feel the Frenchman will not be fit enough to start in which case Scott McTominday will be partnered by Fred.

Brandon Williams did not have a particularly good game vs Villa which means Luke Shaw is set to replace him in midweek at left-back while the rest of the backline is expected to remain the same.

Juan Mata started a rare game for Man United on Sunday but the Spaniard should make way for Jesse Lingard who should be playing in the attacking midfielder’s role.

The front three for Man United have some real quality amongst them and Solskjaer will be heavily relying on his attackers in order to overcome the Mourinho test.

Daniel James and Marcus Rashford will operate on either flank while Anthony Martial plays down the middle. But some rumours have also claimed that the manager might be tempted to use Mason Greenwood. While this could be a real surprise but we don’t think the Norwegian boss will be eager to take such a big gamble.
