Man United hit the road to take on Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Thursday and this one is going to be a tricky fixture for the Red Devils.

The Seagulls have been in top form under Roberto De Zerbi as they go into this midweek tie at the back of a 6-0 win over Wolves. Man United don’t have a great record playing away from home this season so Ten Hag’s boys will have to be on their toes if they wish to pick up all three points.

A win vs Brighton will more or less confirm their place in the top four so Manchester United will do all they can to not lose. A draw won’t be a bad result for ETH but he will want to get the nerves out by securing a UCL spot as early as possible.

Manchester United’s team news and injuries:

The injury list is still very long for Man United with the likes of Martinez and Varane ruled out for lengthy periods. Luke Shaw has done wonderfully well in central defence and we think Ten Hag will once again prefer him ahead of Harry Maguire.

Alejandro Garnacho returned to training last week which is a big boost for the Man United manager but he is yet to be declared match fit. He will be in line to make a comeback on Thursday night but we doubt if he will start or not.

Sancho has been blowing hot and cold since returning to action so it won’t be a surprise to see Rashford playing on the left-hand side with Anthony Martial operating up front.

Scott McTominay is another player who is out injured but thankfully, Ten Hag has the backup of Marcel Sabitzer and Fred.

Eriksen has been starting alongside Casemiro but Brighton are a side that play with pace so Sabitzer could be used in a central role with Fernandes playing as the No 10.

Man United predicted line up vs Brighton:

Predicted Starting line up(4-2-3-1): De Gea; Luke Shaw, Lindelof, Malacia, Wan-Bissaka; Sabitzer, Casemiro; Fernandes, Rashford, Antony; Anthony Martial.
