Man United were held to a 0-0 draw by Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday and they will have the chance to get back to winning ways when they face Crystal Palace in midweek.

The draw vs the Blues means Man United are unbeaten in their last 20 away league matches and given Palace’s recent form, Solskjaer should be looking to extend that record.

The Eagles are 13th on the league table going into this game and they have managed to win just two out of their previous five league games.

Also, Man United have won their last 4 away matches against Crystal Palace in all competitions and given the strength they possess in attack, Ole’s side should be able to pick up a win in midweek. Man United are currently 12 points behind league leaders Man City and with a Manchester Derby coming up, the OT outfit just cannot afford to drop any more points.

Man United team news vs Palace:

Harry Maguire and Lindelof started in goal on Sunday but given they face City next weekend, Solskjaer could choose to rest the latter in midweek meaning Eric Bailly will then come back into the side.

Luke Shaw has escaped a ban after his comments and the England international could also be rested since Ole does have the option of using Alex Telles at left-back.

McTominay’s return from injury was a huge boost for the United boss but the Scott might not feature against Palace in midweek, in which case, Nemanja Matic will partner Fred in central midfield.

Paul Pogba remains an injury absentee but Van de Beek has returned to full fitness. And some pundits think the manager should rest Bruno Fernandes and play the Dutch international in midweek.

While this remains a possibility but we don’t think the manager will want to take such a risky decision, despite Bruno performing poorly against Chelsea on Sunday.

Edinson Cavani is facing a race against time to be fit before Wednesday but in case the South American is not ready then Rashford will once again have to lead the line. Ole will not want to risk Cavani id he’s not 100% as he would much rather save him for the Manchester Derby.

Dan James has been in brilliant form over the past few weeks and he could be handed another start in midweek.

Anthony Martial is also available but the Frenchman has been really poor this season and Solskjaer is more likely to choose Mason Greenwood over him.

Man United’s predicted line-up vs Palace:

Predicted Starting Line-up: De Gea; Maguire, Bailly, Wan-Bissaka, Alex Telles; Fred, Matic/McTominay, Bruno Fernandes; Rashford, Daniel James, Mason Greenwood.
