Man United have been on a roll since the restart of the Premier League and in the past week, they picked up a commanding 3-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion.

Next up, the Old Trafford outfit welcome AFC Bournemouth at home and Solskjaer will once again be looking at three easy points.

Manchester United have kept a clean sheet in their last 4 home matches in the league while Bournemouth have lost their last 7 away matches so not a lot of people are expecting the Cherries to pull the rabbit out of the hat on Saturday, barring a major blunder from the Man United players.

Ole would love to rest some of his key players during the weekend but the manager will not risk it since his side need to maintain the pressure on their closest league table rivals, especially after Chelsea’s loss to West Ham on Thursday.

Man United team news vs Bournemouth:

David De Gea did not have much to do vs Brighton in midweek but the keeper did pull off two decent saves. He will once again start in goal.

Eric Bailly starts on the bench vs the Cherries with Victor Lindelof and Maguire as the first-choice centre-back while Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts at right-back.

Luke Shaw has been playing constantly since the restart and some pundits think the player could be rested as young Brandon Williams comes into the starting XI.

Nemanja Matic has worked superbly as the defensive midfielder in the last two matches but the manager might opt to give him a rest in which case Scott McTominay will come into the side.

Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes have hit it off perfectly in the past couple of matches for Man United and the pair are going to be the first few names of Solskjaer’s teamsheet on Saturday.

Mason Greenwood found the back of the net versus Brighton and the academy graduate, for now, seems to have pushed Dan James down the pecking order.

Anthony Martial once again had an average outing in midweek but the Frenchman will keep his place in the starting line-up.

Marcus Rashford is yet to find the back of the net since the restart but the England international is a guaranteed starter vs the Cherries.

Man United’s predicted XI vs Bournemouth:

Possible starting XI: De Gea; Harry Maguire, Lindelof, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Shaw/Brandon Williams; Matic/McTominay, Pogba, Fernandes; Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood.
