Man United picked up their first win of the 2020/21 season by beating Luton Town in the EFL Cup and now they hit the road in order to take on Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League.

The Red Devils were beaten by Crystal Palace in their opening match and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will need to pick up a win in order to get the pressure off his shoulders.

Man United have kept a clean sheet in their last 4 away matches in the league but Brighton have managed to pick up a win in their previous match, beating Newcastle United 3-0.

Ole made a number of changes to his regular starting XI during United’s midweek clash vs Luton Town but all the usual players are expected to return.

Man United team news vs Brighton:

Dean Henderson made his debut for Manchester United in midweek and many people think the academy graduate will start vs Brighton as well.

But we don’t think Ole will throw Henderson into this weekend’s match as David De Gea will reprise his role in front of goal.

Fosu-Mensah will be replaced at right-back by Aaron Wan-Bissaka while Luke Shaw will keep his place from the Palace game.

Lindelof had a pathetic outing vs Palace and there’s a big chance the Man United boss might choose to send him a message and drop him to the bench. If this happens then Eric Bailly will come into the side alongside Maguire.

Scott McTominay played in midfield last weekend but we think Nemanja Matic will come into the starting XI alongside Paul Pogba.

Van de Beek started in midweek against Luton Town but the summer signing is once again expected to move to the bench as Bruno Fernandes comes into the side.

Mason Greenwood came on as a second-half sub vs Luton and put his name on the scoresheet but the youngster will get the starting berth this weekend vs the Seagulls.

Martial and Rashford both started on the bench in the EFL Cup win but they will return to the starting XI for Man United’s second Premier League match.

Man United’s predicted XI vs Brighton:

Possible Starting XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Bailly/Lindelof, Maguire, Luke Shaw; Matic/McTominay, Pogba, Bruno Fernandes; Rashford, Martial, Mason Greenwood.
