Man United dropped points on Monday as Southampton held them to a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford in the English Premier League.

This result means Manchester United are still 5th on the league table and now they need to pick up wins in each one of their last three games, starting against Crystal Palace on Thursday.

The Red Devils looked a completely different side vs the Saints and it was the visiting side which controlled the tempo of the match, crucially during the final quarter of the match.

United are undefeated in their last 11 matches in the Premier League but they will need to get their act straight at Selhurst Park or Palace can really hurt them.

Man United team news vs Palace:

The big issue for Solskjaer will be with the left-back position since Luke Shaw twisted his ankle on Monday and then his replacement, Brandon Williams had to leave the field with a cut over his eye.

This position will be a big cause of concern for the manager but both Shaw and Williams have reported for training on Tuesday which is a good sign and we feel one of them should be fit enough to start.

Paul Pogba had his first poor game since the resumption and some experts claim that the manager could rest him. But we do not think Ole will want to take that risk since he clearly knows that the best form of defence for his side is to pick up goals.

Nemanja Matic has been playing constantly in defensive midfield so he could make way for Scott McTominay.

Bruno Fernandes had his first poor outing since joining Manchester United in January but the Portuguese playmaker is a guaranteed starter as he racked up yet another assist.

Martial and Marcus Rashford both missed clear cut chances against Southampton, chances that could have secured all three points for Man United. The pair will have to make sure they are at the top of their game vs Palace.

Mason Greenwood failed to make an impact on Monday and the youngster could make way for Daniel James down the right flank.

Man United’s predicted XI vs Palace:

Predicted XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Shaw/Brandon Williams; Matic/McTominay, Pogba, Bruno Fernandes; Rashford, Martial, Greenwood/Dan James.
