Man United came from 1-0 down to beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 on Sunday and these three points mean the Red Devils are now firmly sitting on the second spot of the Premier League table.

United and Spurs played a really cagey game in the first half but Ole’s side shifted gears in the second 45 minutes and the pace and precision were too hot to handle for Mourinho’s men. And the second half performance were so precise that it actually drew accolades from the one and only Roy Keane.

“With the quality United have, they were always going to come back into the game,” Keane said on Sky Sports, as quoted by The Sport Review. “We saw that in the second half. They were the much better team and showed their quality.

“Obviously Greenwood made a big contribution coming off the bench and that’s exactly what you want.

“It was chalk and cheese [from Man United]. First half, as we’ve seen many times this season, [they were] very, very poor, but in the second half [they were] outstanding.

“You’ve got to admire the players and they way they responded. They just showed their quality and what good players they are when they focus on the game. They got the job done, and well deserved.”

It’s not often that Roy Keane comes out to praise a team but Man United’s performance on Sunday was surely top notch. Solskjaer’s side seem to have made it a habit of coming from behind and picking up wins.

United should be able to finish in the top-four quite comfortably so Solskjaer’s next big target will be to lift the Europa League this season. They have one foot in the semi-finals of the tournament thanks to a 2-0 win over Granada last week and given that not too big clubs are left in the competition, Man United could see this one through until the very end.
