Man United take on Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have to be really careful with how he selects his side for this game.

Right after this match, Manchester United face Leicester and Liverpool within a span of just four days so there’s a big chance Ole will look to rest some of his important players on Sunday. Then, there’s also this theory that the manager will look to secure three points from this game by naming his strongest XI.

Man United are undefeated in their last 24 away matches and have kept a clean sheet in 5 of their last 7 away games in the league so we can expect to see another United win this weekend, especially since Villa will once again be without Jack Grealish.

The likes of Rashford and McTominay did not start against Roma on Thursday but if Ole is naming his full-strength starting XI then both of them will feature from the start at Villa Park.

Man United team news vs Aston Villa:

David De Gea was the star of the show for Manchester United against Roma, pulling off 10 saves during the second leg. And many think this performance should be enough for him to reclaim his No 1 spot from Dean Henderson.

This switch is obviously on the cards but we don’t think Henderson will be moving to the bench any time soon.

Lindelof got the night off on Thursday with Eric Bailly starting in central defence but the Swede will come back into the side vs Villa, playing alongside Harry Maguire.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke both played just 45 minutes in the second leg so they will be fresh enough to feature during the weekend.

Donny van de Beek got a rare start in midweek playing on the left wing but with McTominay coming back into the line up, the Dutch international will once again move back to the bench.

Pogba should return to the left-hand side of attack with Marcus Rashford operating on the right flank. Mason Greenwood will come on as a sub to freshen things up a bit in the second half.

Anthony Martial and Dan James both remain sidelined so Edinson Cavani will once again have to lead the line, something which is not great for a 34-year-old.
