Man United have been on a roll since the 2019-20 season restarted and they are yet to lose a match since returning back to action a few weeks ago.

The Red Devils take on Aston Villa away from home on Thursday and they go into this game at the back of an authoritative 5-2 win against AFC Bournemouth.

Man United are undefeated in their last 21 away matches against Aston Villa in all competitions and with the kind of form they are in right now, not many people can see Solskjaer’s men dropping points at Villa Park.

The OT outfit are easily one of the best attacking sides in England right now but their defence is still an issue and with players like Jack Grealish at their disposal, Villa might just be able to sneak a point from this game.

Man United team news vs Aston Villa:

David De Gea started the resumption on the wrong foot with a very novice mistake against Spurs but since then the Spaniard has been more or less stable and he will once again start in front of goal.

Victor Lindelof came off against the Cherries with back trouble and remains a doubt for the Villa game. With Tuanzebe and Phil Jones both out injured, Eric Bailly will partner Harry Maguire in central defence on Thursday.

Luke Shaw has been playing constantly at left-back but the player could be rested on Thursday in which case young Brandon Williams will get to start.

Nemanja Matic has been a rock-solid figure in defensive midfield during the past couple of matches but Ole will love to give him a much-deserved rest. If Matic moves to the bench then Scott McTominay should be his likely replacement.

But with Jack Grealish in the opposite side, we will have to wait and see if the Man United manager risks moving Matic to the bench.

Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes have been playing like a dream for Manchester United and the pair are guaranteed starters in midfield.

Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford both found the back of the net against Bournemouth during the weekend and will start up front vs Villa as well.

Mason Greenwood has been the talk of the town after his brace vs the Cherries and right now he has more or less made the right winger’s role his own. Daniel James will start on the bench and maybe will come on during the second half.
