Man United have been in fine form in the Premier League over the past couple of weeks and right now they find themselves second on the league table – tied on points with top-placed Liverpool.

The Reds Devils will take on Jurgen Klopp’s men in the league next weekend but before that, they will have to face Burnley at Turf Moor on Tuesday night.

This match will be their game in hand so if Ole’s men can pick up all three points vs Burnley in midweek then go to Anfield with the prospect of becoming league leaders.

Man United will go into the Burnley game as the favourites but Solskjaer does have some serious injury concerns which could force the Norwegian boss to make a few changes to his regular starting XI. Man United have won 8 of their last 10 matches in the Premier League and with the talent they have on the bench, we expect them to see this one through.

Man United team news vs Burnley:

Dean Henderson was starting in goal during the cup games last week but he will be replaced by David De Gea in midweek.

Victor Lindelof missed the FA Cup game due to an injury and Eric Bailly also had to be taken off the pitch during that same match after receiving a blow to the head. Even though Bailly’s injury is not too serious but we don’t think Ole will want to risk him on Tuesday.

If Lindelof is adjudged unfit then Harry Maguire will be partnered by Axel Tuanzebe in central defence.

Luke Shaw was another player who missed the Watford game with an injury and if he’s not fit in time then summer signing Alex Telles will play on the left-hand side of defence as Aaron Wan-Bissaka returns to the right-hand side.

Scott McTominay was the only goal scorer on Saturday but there’s every chance that Solskjaer chooses to rest the Scottish international against Burnley just to keep him fresh for the next weekend.

Fred has been in a mainstay in central midfield for Man United and the Brazilian will get a start alongside McTominay or Nemanja Matic.

Paul Pogba is also recovering from an injury and we doubt Ole will risk him in midweek given that Man United travel to Anfield on Sunday.

Edinson Cavani returns from his three-match ban and if Pogba remains unavailable at Turf Moor then the Uruguayan will be deployed up front as Solskjaer tweaks his team formation.

Rashford and Martial both came off the bench vs Watford in the FA Cup but the pair will start against Sean Dyche’s men on Tuesday.
