Man United have been in a fine run of form this season in the Premier League and they will now be hoping to continue that form into the EFL Cup vs Everton.

United are unbeaten in their last seven domestic fixtures and they will be looking to pick up yet another win at Goodison Park on Wednesday.

Solskjaer’s men will go into this match at the back of a thumping 6-2 win against Leeds United but the manager does have a few injury concerns to deal with in midweek.

He is also expected to make a few rotations to his starting XI meaning the likes of Van de Beek and Pogba could come into the side.

Man United team news vs Everton:

Dean Henderson should be replacing David De Gea in front of goal on Wednesday but Ole is expected to stick with the centre-back pairing of Lindelof and Harry Maguire.

Luke Shaw was withdrawn towards the end of the Leeds United game and there’s a big chance he will miss out the trip to Goodison Park. Alex Telles will replace him at left-back.

Pogba remained an unused sub during the weekend but will come into the starting XI in midweek to replace Scott McTominay who picked up an injury vs Leeds.

Fred has also been superb which is why he is expected to keep his place in midfield thereby keeping Nemanja Matic on the bench.

Van de Beek came off the bench on Sunday and there’s a big chance he gets to start vs Everton. Some pundits though think Ole will stick with Bruno Fernandes in the attacking midfielder’s role.

Daniel James will move the bench and Juan Mata is likely to come into the starting XI as the Spaniard has been used sparingly this season.

Anthony Martial could not find the back of the net against Leeds United but was otherwise superb so he will keep his place in the side in midweek.
