Man United smashed nine goals past Southampton in the Premier League on Tuesday and with that beaming confidence they now take on Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton.

The Red Devils blew away the Saints as Hasenhuttl’s side ended the game with nine men on the pitch and this was a much-needed win for Ole’s side since they had failed to pick up maximum points from their previous two league games.

Man United’s home form this season is not particularly great but they are currently undefeated in 15 of their last 16 matches in the Premier League – something which should be able to hand them an upper-hand this weekend.

Also, Solskjaer has only a few injury concerns going into this game and most of his big-game players are well rested since they did not have to sweat against Southampton

Man United team news vs Everton:

David De Gea will start in goal and there’s a chance that Eric Bailly comes back into the side – playing alongside Harry Maguire in central defence.

Luke Shaw played only 45 minutes vs the Saints and the left-back will be fully fit to take on Everton this weekend. Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts on the right-hand side of defence.

Fred and McTominay played in central midfield on Tuesday but one of them is expected to make way as Paul Pogba comes back into the side. Some reports claim the Frenchman could once again start on the bench but we doubt if Ole will want to take such a risk against a side like Everton.

Donny van de Beek got some minutes under his belt during the 9-0 win vs Southampton but the summer signing will once again start on the bench this weekend as Bruno Fernandes occupies that attacking midfielder’s role.

Marcus Rashford was also taken off early in midweek meaning he will have gotten a proper rest before the Everton game. The England international will start on the left wing with Mason Greenwood likely to play down the right.

Anthony Martial scored a brace against Southampton but he is not expected to start against the Toffees.

Edinson Cavani will get the nod up front but there’s a slight cause of concern for the Man United manager after the South American picked up a knock during the first-half against the Saints.
