Man United team news vs Fulham: Bruno Fernandes on the bench?

Bruno Fernandes

Man United picked up a hard-fought point in the EPL at Anfield on Sunday and next up they will take on Fulham at Craven Cottage in midweek.

United maintained their spotless form on the road after the draw vs Liverpool and are now undefeated in their last 16 away matches in the Premier League.

Fulham, on the other hand, come into this match at the back of a 1-0 loss to Chelsea and they are now winless in their last seven league matches.

On paper, this one should be one of the easier games for Man United but Ole Solskjaer is expected to make a number of changes to his starting XI and this could be the chance that Scott Parker’s side needs to cause an upset.

EPL: Man United team news vs Fulham

De Gea is the first choice keeper for Man United in the EPL but in midweek the Spanish keeper could move to the bench as Dean Henderson comes into the side.

Eric Bailly was not named in the starting XI vs Liverpool but the central defender will come into to side, replacing Victor Lindelof.

Luke Shaw has been stellar at left-back this season but the England international will be replaced by summer signing Alex Telles.

Nemanja Matic will also come into the side replacing Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba will also move into central midfield meaning Fred will drop to the bench.

Bruno Fernandes has been playing continuously for Man United but the Portuguese is likely to be given a much-deserved rest in midweek. Donny van de Beek should get a rare start.

Amad Diallo has joined the Man United first-team squad but the youngster is not likely to be named in the match-day squad at Craven Cottage.

Cavani came off the bench vs Liverpool on Sunday but the South American is likely to replace Anthony Martial up front.

Mason Greenwood will be in contention to start vs Fulham but we think it will be Juan Mata who will get the nod down the right wing for Man United.
