Mason Greenwood - Man United

Man United beat Sheffield United 3-2 away from home in the English Premier League on Thursday and next up, they will take on Leeds United at Old Trafford.

United are currently sitting sixth on the league table with 23 points and have one game in hand meaning they can still very much maintain the pressure on the likes of Liverpool and Spurs for the league title.

Solskjaer’s men have been in fine form away from home but at Old Trafford, they have been really wobbly and the brand of football that Leeds United play, there’s every chance that Man United could drop points on Sunday as well.

Thankfully, the Man United boss has a fully fit squad to choose from and after resting a few players in midweek, Ole is expected to revert back to his usual first-team players.

Man United team news vs Leeds United:

Dean Henderson played in goal against the Blades but David De Gea will return to the first XI on Sunday against Leeds United.

Maguire and Lindelof will keep their place in central defence but Alex Telles might move to the bench with Luke Shaw coming in at left-back.

Fred and McTominay were both rested in midweek but they are sure to come back into the team which will see Nemanja Matic move back to the bench.

The extra midfielder in the starting XI also means Man United might use a front two of Rashford and Martial with Mason Greenwood starting on the bench.

Despite all the exit talks, Paul Pogba has been a constant figure in central midfield for United and the Frenchman will keep his place.

Bruno Fernandes is the star of the show for Manchester United and the Portuguese will play in the attacking midfielder’s role with the license to drift around the pitch.

Edinson Cavani is still not a 100 per cent fit and may not be available for selection this weekend. Even if he is deemed fit then the South American will only find a place on the bench.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to crowd the midfield so that Leeds United cannot control the centre of the pitch but for that, the likes of Pogba and Fred will have to be ultra disciplined.
