Man United are back in Europe this week as they take on Real Sociedad in the first leg of the Round of 32 in the Europa League.

The match will be played at the Juventus Stadium in Turin due to all the travelling restrictions in Spain and the Red Devils go into this game as the favourites.

Man United have not had a really great record against Spanish opposition but the last time these two sides met was in the 2013/14 Champions League group stages and during the two legs, Real Sociedad had failed to score even a single goal against the English side.

United go into this game at a back of a 1-1 setback in the Premier League so the players will have their tails up and this not great news for Sociedad. Ole does have a few injury problems to deal with but they take on Newcastle United next weekend in the league so the manager is expected to name his strongest side on Thursday.

Man United team news vs Real Sociedad:

Man United keeper David De Gea will be rested in this match as Dean Henderson comes into the starting line-up.

Lindelof was poor against West Brom and his lack of physicality helped the Baggies score their only goal of the match. So now with Eric Bailly back to full fitness, Lindelof could be moved to the bench.

Luke Shaw continued his fine run against West Brom as well but the England international will move to the bench as Solskjaer will give Alex Telles a start.

Fred and McTominay played in central midfield on Sunday but one of them is expected to be rested as Nemanja Matic comes into the side.

Paul Pogba is still recovering from his thigh injury and will not be fit for the Real Sociedad game in Turin.

Solskjaer has the chance to hand Donny van de Beek a rare start in midweek so it will be interesting to see if the Man United boss chooses to rest Bruno Fernandes and use the Dutchman instead.

Anthony Martial had another poor game during the weekend and we expect the manager to drop the Frenchman to the bench and hand young Mason Greenwood a start down the right wing.

If Greenwood gets a start then Marcus Rashford will get to play on the left-hand side of the pitch. Edinson Cavani got very little service against the Baggies and the South American will be raring to go against Real Sociedad.
