Man United managed to score two goals against Granada in the Europa League thereby swinging the two-legged tie in their favour. But they now must quickly shift their focus to the Premier League.

United managed to consolidate their second spot on the table after beating Brighton last weekend and next up, they take on Spurs. The last time these two sides met, the Old Trafford side were beaten 1-6 but we don’t expect such a result this time around.

Manchester United are undefeated in their last 22 away matches while Spurs go into this game at the back of a draw against Newcastle United. They have also managed to keep a clean sheet in 6 of their last 8 away matches in the league so the Red Devils do go into this game as the slight favourites.

The English side will miss a few key players for the second leg vs Granada next weekend which gives Solskjaer even more leverage to name his strongest side on Sunday.

Man United team news vs Spurs:

Dean Henderson seems to have made the No 1 spot his own and with De Gea starting in the Europa League on Thursday, Henderson should be playing in goal during the weekend.

Luke Shaw was taken off the pitch after just 45 minutes vs Granada and everyone thought he had picked up an injury. But the manager has revealed that it was just a precautionary measure and the left-back should be fit to play vs Spurs.

Ole said after the match: “I had to protect Luke. But I think and hope he should be okay for the weekend.”

Lindelof and Maguire will pair up in central defence since Eric Bailly is not likely to return to England by Sunday. Aaron Wan-Bissaka will play at right-back.

McTominay could have been rested on Sunday but since he will not be available for the second leg vs Granada, the Scottish international should be playing in midfield alongside Paul Pogba.

Rashford did not play the full 90 minutes on Thursday so barring a late injury, he will definitely be featuring in the starting line-up alongside Mason Greenwood.

Edinson Cavani came off the bench in midweek but the South American will start up front with Anthony Martial ruled out for the rest of the season.
