Man United have lost their last two matches in the Premier League and this unfortunate run could very well continue since the Red Devils take on Wolves this weekend.

Wolves have been in stellar form this season and given the number of midfield injury concerns that Ole has right now, it will be a real uphill task for Manchester United to dominate this game on Saturday.

But having said that though, new signing Bruno Fernandes will surely add a little bit of oomph into the squad if he does start the match and Man United have won 7 of their last 8 home matches against Wolves in all competitions meaning the stats are in their favour as well.

Both the sides are on 34 points meaning if Manchester United cannot pick up a win in this game then they could very well slip down from the 5th spot which they have been holding onto for a couple of weeks now.

Man United team news vs Wolves:

Solskjaer used a three-man central defence vs Man City in midweek but the Norwegian is expected to revert back to the usual 4-2-3-1 formation on Saturday.

This means Lindelof and Harry Maguire will play in central defence while Luke Shaw who played in as a centre-back on Wednesday will hopefully drop back to the bench.

Brandon Williams put in a stellar shift vs City and the youngster should start at left-back vs Wolves while Aaron Wan-Bissaka plays as the right-back.

Nemanja Matic scored United’s only goal of the match on Wednesday but later saw a red card meaning he is suspended for the weekend’s game.

And this will be a huge problem for Solskjaer since both Pogba and McTominay are both ruled out.

Andreas Pereira remains the obvious and only choice to play in central midfield alongside Fred.

Bruno Fernandes has secured a move to Manchester United this week and if the Red Devils can complete the whole transfer process by Friday morning then the attacking midfielder should be named in the starting XI on Saturday.

Marcus Rashford remains sidelined with an injury meaning Mason Greenwood should get another start up front alongside Daniel James and Anthony Martial.
