Man United, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been put on high alert after Randal Kolo Muani hinted that there’s a chance he could look for a new challenge in the summer.

The 24-year-old has seen a meteoric rise this season at Eintracht Frankfurt as he scored 11 and assisted 24 goals in the Bundesliga. The German club are valuing him very highly but at the same time, they are willing to cash in on him if an interested club is ready to shell out around €120 million for him.

There has been a major buzz regarding his move out of Germany at the end of the season and now, Randal Muani has himself admitted that he dreams of playing for ‘big clubs’.

“We talk about it a lot already, but I try to be focused on my club,” he told L’Equipe.

“We continue our performances and we will see this summer. Afterwards, I always dreamed of playing in big clubs.

“I thought I was going to need some time to adapt, maybe a year. But everything exploded. Either way, I’m ready for any challenge. I ask the club to get me my statistics on my matches each time.

“I share this with my physical trainer to know what to improve. I do a lot of goals and assists, but it’s not at the level where I should be. I still miss quite a bit. This is only my third season as a pro.”

Will Man United be able to sign him or will Chelsea or Liverpool move ahead in this race?

Liverpool had been linked with the French striker in January and it’s being claimed that they will go back for him in the summer as Klopp looks for a replacement for the outgoing Roberto Firmino.

However, there’s no way the Liverpool owners will be ready to spend €120 million on a striker. They urgently need a new midfielder so most of their transfer budget will be diverted to that area. Also, they have just signed Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo so it makes no sense to spend so much on another striker.

Chelsea though could prove to be a fierce competitor in this transfer race because Graham Potter has no plans of taking back Romelu Lukaku. The Blues will be out in the market in search of a new striker and they are surely going to rival Man United for Muani.

Man United are also keeping tabs on Harry Kane’s contract situation at Spurs and many think the England international will be a more sensible choice given that he will be available for a lot less.

Previously several Bundesliga stars have failed to adapt to the Premier League so it will definitely be a gamble to spend €110-120 million on a player who’s played only one season in Germany.
