Manchester United Are Planning To Reward Jose Mourinho For His Performances

0
The Manchester United management is planning to offer Jose Mourinho a new five-year contract at the club as per reports.

Jose Mourinho took over the reins at Manchester United during the summer of 2016 from Louis Van Gaal and at that point of time, the Portuguese had signed a three-year deal with the Red Devils. But now according to the Sun, the United management is hugely impressed with the Portuguese’s achievements with the club and that is why they want to reward him with a new contract.

This new contract will not see a pay rise for the manager but his performance-related bonuses are set to increase quite heavily – if sources are to be believed. The wages of the manager will remain at £250,000-per-week which means that his new contract will be worth £65 million.

When asked about his intentions of managing Man Utd for a longer period, Jose Mourinho showed a positive attitude by saying that he wishes to stay at the club for a long time.

Mourinho said, “I can say I would like to stay many years,

“I don’t need a new contract to work to my limits. I don’t have a problem to arrive at the end of my contract and be free to decide what I want to do and the club free to decide what they want to do.”

Mourinho has entered his second season with the club and during his first season, the Portuguese managed to with the EFL Cup and the Europa League. Now in the second season, he has already managed to make United a force to reckon with.
