Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio could be on his way out of the club in the summer and Arsenal are one of the sides who are interested in signing him.
Over the past few months, there have been several reports linking the Gunners to the 26-year-old and now the player’s representative has confirmed that Arsenal are one of the sides who are keen to get their hands on him.
He said, as quoted: “We are proud of Milan’s interest. The Rossoneri [Milan] are an option even if there are offers from a couple of English clubs, including Arsenal. We are ready to evaluate every option.”
Are Arsenal making a sensible choice?
Arsenal currently have Bukayo Saka who plays on the right-wing and Nicolas Pepe is his backup but if the Gunners can get sign someone like Marco Asensio then Pepe will obviously be sold.
Saka is reportedly ready to sign a new contract with the club and if the Gunners can bring in the Real Madrid man as well then the right-wing will be sorted for several seasons.

First, they will have to offload Pepe because he has been a massive failure but if Arsenal are ready to offer him at a discounted price then we are sure several PL sides will be ready to sign him.
Will Marco Asensio be ready to join Arsenal?
Obviously, Arsenal aren’t the only sides who are keen to get their hands on the Real Madrid misfit but if the Gunners can get back into the Champions League, they will make a great case for themselves.
There’s no way Asensio will join a side who are not playing in the UCL so the first them Arsenal need to do is to secure a top-four finish in the Premier League.
Also, no agent openly disclosed the names of the interested teams unless the player is eager to join them so this statement from Asensio’s representative might also be a ‘come get me’ plea.
With Bukayo Saka in the mix, Marco Asensio will have competition on the right-hand side of the pitch but Saka, as well as Asensio, can play in multiple roles so that should not be an issue for the 26-year-old.
