Man United beat Liverpool 3-2 in the 4th Round of the FA Cup but striker Marcus Rashford seems to have picked up a knee injury during Sunday’s match.

Rashford scored one and assisted one goal for Man United at Old Trafford but the England international had to be taken off the pitch in the 86th minute of the match.

And speaking about Rashford after the match, Solskjaer revealed that the forward has picked up a knock to the knee.

Ole said, as quoted by The Independent: “Marcus has played up front, down the right and left.

“We felt if we could switch the ball early today we could attack them because Liverpool defend on the front foot so we have to be quick on the ball. We did that well.

“Marcus felt his knee. We’ll have to do a scan. Hopefully it’s not too bad but I’m not a doctor, so we’ll have to see tomorrow.”

Marcus Rashford was one of the star players for Man United on Sunday but his potential injury will surely be a cause of concern for his manager since they have some really important games coming up in the EPL.

During the weekend, United take on Sheffield in the Premier League and next Saturday they head to the Emirates for a clash against Arsenal.

Sheffield United are currently the 20th team on the EPL table and so far, they have won only one game which is why Solskjaer shouldn’t be worrying too much about using Marcus Rashford on Wednesday.

But most importantly, the Man United will be hoping the knee injury is not serious and the England international can be fit in time for the journey to London next weekend.
