Man United forward Marcus Rashford picked up a knee injury during his side’s win against Man City on Sunday. And immediately, he’s a doubt for the AC Milan game.

Rashford suffered the damage after sprinting back to make a vital tackle and with a 2-0 lead in the bag, Solskjaer chose to take him off in the 73rd minute. Speaking after the final whistle, the manager failed to provide any concrete update on the injury but hoped that it’s not a serious one.

“It is one of them. It was a great recovery run, a recovery sprint, he saved maybe a goal, so he sacrificed himself for the team,” Ole told Manutd.com.

“It is something with his ankle I think. I am not a doctor but hopefully it is not too bad. We will have to scan him in the morning.”

Marcus Rashford had a very good outing on the left wing at the Etihad and if he’s not fully fit in the next couple of days then Man United could be in some trouble against AC Milan at Old Trafford.

Man United are trying their best to win a silverware this season and the Europa League is something they are very much focused on. But if Rashford is ruled out from the first leg then Solskjaer could potentially look for damage limitation on Thursday.

Edinson Cavani missed the Premier League derby with a slight niggle but he should be fit enough to play vs Milan. So if Marcus Rashford is not a 100% then Anthony Martial will move into the left wing role while Cavani operates up front.
