Manchester United came back from 1-0 down to beat Brighton 2-1 in the Premier League on Sunday and forward Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood both put their names on the scoresheet.

Mason Greenwood scored the winning header as he found the back of the net after a long spell in the league but it was Marcus Rashford who brought his side back on level terms with a fine finish in the 62nd minute.

After the first goal, a lot of people were sure that Man United will push on to get the win and Rashford will be at the centre of it all. But to everyone’s surprise, the manager decided to take him off and bring on Daniel James.

And speaking after the match, the Manchester United boss revealed that the England international might have picked up a knock, the extent of which was not fully known yet.

“I’m not sure,” Ole told on MUTV, as per the club’s official website.

“He got caught with a tackle so he had to come off. Let’s see how he goes again. Marcus doesn’t want to miss any games or any minutes, but he had to come off.”

Things got worse from here onwards since Ole then went on to tell BT Sport that Marcus Rashford might not be fit enough to face Granada in the Europa League on Thursday.

“It’s one of them again,” he added.

“Your fingers are crossed and you hope he’s going to recover from it. He had to come off but he’s a tough one.”

Granada aren’t particularly a strong side so Solskjaer will not be sweating too much over the injury of Rashford but just a few days later, Manchester United will face Spurs and the manager will be hoping that his premier forward is ready for this key game.

Players like Amad Diallo and Dan James can do more than a perfect job against Granada in midweek but it’s the Spurs game that will be the major cause of concern for Ole right now.

Anthony Martial has sprained his knee and could be out for the remainder of the season. So if Marcus Rashford is also ruled out for the Tottenham game next Sunday then it will be a big headache for Solskjaer.
