Newcastle United are finally beginning to pick up form this season and next up they face West Ham United in the Premier League.

Both the clubs are tied on 12 points with the Magpies above the Hammers on goal difference and before the two team clash, Rafa Benitez has received some really good news.

According to reports, West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic is a doubt for Saturday’s clash.

Arnautovic has been the star player for West Ham once again this season but the player picked up a hip injury during last week’s defeat at the hands of Manchester City.

And rumours have it that the forward is yet to fully recover from the injury.

If Marko Arnautovic cannot make himself available before Saturday then it might be Andy Carroll who will play up front for Pellegrini’s men.

Javier Hernandez also remains another option for Manuel Pellegrini but the manager is yet to show full faith in the former Man United man this season.

Marko Arnautovic has so far played in 11 Premier League games for the Hammers – scoring five goals and providing one assist.

The hip injury which the 29-year-old sustained last weekend did not look very serious but Arnautovic is yet to return to full training and with a couple of days to go for the Newcastle vs West Ham clash it remains to be seen if the forward can make himself available.

Both Newcastle and West Ham are tied on points in the middle of the table and a win for either side could take them closer to the top half of the table.

The Magpies are in a bright streak of form and have managed to pick up three wins out of their last four games and by beating West Ham, Rafa Benitez will want to keep that good run going.
