Michy Batshuayi has been moving around Europe on various loan spells but it looked like the striker’s fortunes were finally about to change with Frank Lampard at the helm.

After Chelsea’s win over St Patrick’s Athletic during their pre-season game, newly appointed Blues boss had some pretty good things to say about Michy Batshuayi which indicated to the fact that the striker could play a key role next season.

Now though fresh reports are suggesting that Lampard does not see the Belgium international in his plans next campaign and is willing to let him leave.

And reports in Turkey are suggesting that Galatasaray want to sign him for the upcoming season.

Aksam(via Sport Witness) have claimed:

“According to Aksam, Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim has a clear target in mind for the No.9 position and that player is Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi.

“The Turkish giants are expected to part ways with 31-goal forward Mbaye Diagne this summer and the Senegal international has been linked with a move to Premier League. Southampton, Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace are all said to be interested.

“Subsequently, Gala are in the market for a first choice striker this summer and Aksam say Terim wants to sign the Chelsea man on a temporary basis.”

Michy Batshuayi has never been able to settle down at Chelsea and now with Tammy Abraham returning back to the fold, it looks like the 25-year-old should be preparing himself for yet another season away from Stamford Bridge.

Some pundits feel that instead of loaning him out for the 2019-20 season, Frank Lampard might use this opportunity to offload Michy Batshuayi permanently this summer.

Others though are against this idea and want the Blues to only loan the striker out so that they can recall him during the middle of the season given that they won’t be able to sign any new players.
