Liverpool take on Crystal Palace right after the international break and by the looks of it, both Mo Salah and Andy Robertson could be absentees for this game.

The Reds beat Man City in the Premier League this past weekend during which Mo Salah was on the receiving end of a harsh tackle from Fernandinho.

And it is being claimed during this tackle the Egyptian aggravated the ankle injury which he picked up against Leicester City last month.

While the Egyptian has flown to join his national side but initial reports claim he is expected to be out for a couple of weeks meaning he could be an absentee when Liverpool visit Selhurst Park.

And if this injury blow wasn’t enough, now Andy Robertson has also picked up an ankle knock according to The Athletic‘s James Pearce.

The 25-year-old has withdrawn from Scotland’s squad for their upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Cyprus and Kazakhstan and as per rumours, he could miss the clash vs Palace too.

While Jurgen Klopp does have James Milner who can replace Robertson at left-back but still his absence will well and truly be missed given that he’s been a key performer for the Reds this season.

Mo Salah if he misses the trip will hopefully be replaced by Divock Origi down that right flank but there’s also a chance that Xherdan Shaqiri gets to start if the Swiss can fully recover from his recent injuries troubles.

On paper, Mo Salah might look like a bigger miss for Liverpool but if Robertson cannot be fit in time then Jurgen Klopp will be under some serious pressure since the Scottish international has been a big factor in Liverpool getting constant supplies into the box from the wide areas.
