Egypt's line-up vs Uruguay

Egypt reached Russia to take part in the World Cup which starts on Thursday and one of the most pleasing sights for the fans was to see Mo Salah on board the plain with the rest of the squad.

When the African side touched down in Grozny, Russia, Mo Salah was given a hero’s welcome.

Fans of Mo Salah were waiting with large banners and as soon as the forward arrived, they started chanting his name.

The kind of reception that Mo Salah received has clearly surpassed the love the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi got when they arrived in Russia with their respective national sides.

Salah injured his shoulder during the Champions League final a couple of weeks ago and since then the Egyptian has been fighting a race against time to make himself available for the World Cup.

At first, it was being believed that the forward might miss the tournament due to the injury.

But Mo Salah has said he will available for selection when Egypt take on Uruguay in the Group A match on Friday.
