This World Cup, Brazil are one of the most backed teams to lift the trophy – their first since 2002 but African side Nigeria seem to be creating their own fan base across the globe.
It all started last week when Nike unveiled Nigeria’s official football kit for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Here’s Nigeria’s official kit for the FIFA World Cup:
The moment the pictures of the kit went onto social media, it created a buzz amongst the fans and you can clearly see why.
Offline too, the frenzy reached similar levels as the kit was sold out within 3 minutes of going on sale across London.
And now that the Super Eagles are jet-setting their way to Russia, their travel kit too is grabbing a lot of eyeballs.
Before leaving Austria, the Nigerian national team came together for a group photo and everyone was dressed in the travel kit.

The Super Eagles have now taken the World Cup fashion to a whole new level.
But this has not gone down too well with many fans believing that the Nigerian team are more focused on how they dress rather than giving that extra bit on the field.
With all these our outfits, the jerseys, suits and this attire, i just hope we are not just going to Russia to model.
